Our monthly meeting is on every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.  Until we are in our new building, we are meeting at Tall Firs Cafe and Events center at 1486 18th Street, Springfield, Oregon 97477.

The best way to join The American Legion is to meet the Commander at the Post in person.  If this is impossible, feel free to go to the national American Legion site.  Be sure to list our Post #40 as your Post!  Annual dues are currently $45.

Note: if you join online, the option to make Post #40 your Post might not be there.  If signing up online, reach out and let us know and we will take care of the transfer.

There are many good reasons to join The American Legion.  Some of these include benefits, our rich patriotic history, and camaraderie with other local veterans.  Our Post was founded here in Springfield in August of 1920.
