Our monthly meeting is on every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.

Dry Post
Studies show that veterans are much more likely to have alcohol-related issues than the civilian populace. Therefore, we are a dry post choosing not to exploit this problem among veterans.
We are a place to come to get away from it all and meet with other veterans of like mind.
We also aim to help with the underlying problems that might lead to addictions including ReBoot classes, referral to behavioral therapists that specialize in veterans' backgrounds, service, and more.

The best way to join The American Legion is to meet the Commander at the Post in person. If this is impossible, feel free to go to the national American Legion site. Be sure to list our Post #40 as your Post! Annual dues are currently $45.
Note: if you join online, the option to make Post #40 your Post might not be there. If signing up online, reach out and let us know and we will take care of the transfer.
